Hemsedals climate and location high above sea level ensures a long and snowy winter season with great skiing from November till May.

Hemsedal has Norway's highest ski-point during winter season at the peak Totten 1450 meters above sea level. Hemsedal Skisenter also includes the peaks Røgjin at 1370 meters and Hammaren at 1444.

Hemsedal Skisenter is open daily from middle of November to the first weekend in May.
